This example demonstrates a tool that can be built with an intermediate-level knowledge of the MyGeotab system. It is suitable for those who have a good understanding of the Geotab ecosystem and are comfortable with the MyGeotab SDK and leveraging the MyGeotab APIs within their projects.
This example demonstrates how to send the three different types of text messages. Vehicles which are equipped with Garmin devices can received text messages from users of Geotab. There are three types of text messages which can be sent, basic (simple text based messaging), canned response (text message with responses such as "Yes, No, Maybe"), and location (text message with integrated location used for routing and dispatch).
